How do you get a fat Siamese cat to lose weight?
i have a lilac point siamese cat that is huge. he is the size of a mane coon! (those cats are huge!(and i mean the fat)) we feed him boots and barkley cat food. He usually sleeps during the day, and will come up to you and follow you around when you get home (as long as you walk) we give him 4 treats (pounce brand) a day, and he isnt interested in many toys other than string. (string tires me out to) when i take out a string he chases it for 5 minutes then stops and watches me. any ideas? im just afraid he'll get diabeetees! i dont want my poor baby to die!
Feed him less. Don't give him diet food and don't give him treats. And continue trying to play with him more. You can portion his food into small bits and hide it throughout the house.
